The
original band lineup (L to R): Mark Turner, Eddie Eicher, David Molinari, Mark Lundell

David on guitar |
The music of local singer/songwriter David Molinari incorporates elements of folk, rock, and jazz, reflecting
Dave's diverse musical background. Dave himself is a multi-instrumentalist (keyboards,
guitars, harmonica, you name it) which only adds to the delightful melange.
One of the distinctives of Dave's approach is the highly improvisational environment he fosters. Any one of us could take things in a different direction at any point by changing
the dynamics or the groove. In fact, we hardly ever played a song the same way
twice.

Eddie on drums |
Our audiences seemed to like it too. No matter how
many times they came to one of Dave's gigs, they knew they'd always hear something fresh, created especially for them on the
spot. It was a bit risky but it almost always paid-off.
More recently Dave has been performing as a solo act and in the
cajun-influenced band, Creolization, which doesn't involve me but provides yet another fresh, new forum for Dave's
great compositions.

Even though the DMB doesn't perform regularly any longer, the band's two CD's stand as
testimony to the creativity, energy, and special chemistry that existed between the musicians in that group. I'm quite
proud of those recordings and invite you to sample several of the tunes by following this link.
