This year, we stayed at a cabana-style hotel in Tulum. The accomodations were more rustic than at the
mega-sized resorts, but the trade-off was well worth it. Our cabin was right on the ocean, and we shared the vast, powdery,
white-sand beach with no more than a dozen people at a time.
