Side Pocket is a jazz/funk/fusion quartet made up of the rhythm section from the
horn band, Hip Pocket. But don't think it's just a smaller version of the same band. Side Pocket primarily
plays instrumental jazz and fusion tunes, taking the time to stretch out on solos and fully explore the creative dimension
of the music. Phil Marsh is on guitar, Paul Lezinski on keyboards, Kevin Gillespie on bass, and myself on drums.
The band's repertoire includes compositions by Pat Metheny, Chick Corea, Billy Cobham, the Yellowjackets
